Why is 6 afraid of 7?

Because 7 8(ate) 9!
You know its a special day when the date is the answer to a silly joke (07/08/09).

So other than that I don't have much to post. I promise something will be coming soon and apologize for being a slacker. It's been well over a month since my last post but I do have some reasons. Yes they are just excuses but they are good ones (most of them).

1) I was finishing the school year.
2) We got new carpet and our house was/is still recovering as we try to reorganize.
3) We went to Vegas for 4 days.
4) Our internet connection has been unreliable to say the least.
5) We went to San Diego for a weekend.
6) All of our pictures (5+ years worth of pictures) were somehow deleted from our photo library and our external hard drive! I have new photos but don't want to download new images onto the computer until we are sure that old images are gone for good. I would hate to write over them.
***If you have any photos of us or of events we attended you think we might like feel free to put them on a disc and send it to us, email it to us, add it to facebook and tag us, etc. We would love to recover some memories!***
7) We went to Big Bear for 4 days to celebrate the fourth of July.
8) I have had the flu for the last 5 days and have been fighting temperatures up to 101. Still fighting... the temp is finally under control but the rest of the body needs to figure it out still.
