Can you tell Chris was disappointed to say the least that we didn't go to New York! He actually swore that he would not step foot into the New York New York because it would be a painful reminder that our other vacation was cancelled!
We have always enjoyed our mini trips to Vegas and figured this would be on the list of things to do again before Baby Hof arrives. This trip was so nice. We walked and walked and walked. There is so much to see and do. The possibilities are endless. We enjoyed shopping, laying by the pool, people watching (of course), eating delicious food, and just enjoy each others company. We stayed at the Bellagio... which is my favorite hotel ever! How can you go wrong with those fountain shows... I think that they are absolutely marvelous (in fact... Chris originally planned to propose in front of these fountains. I ruined that plan though...). We had a lake view room which means we could see the fountain shows from our window. The Bellagio has their own TV station that plays the music for you in your room as the fountain show is going on! It is WONDERFUL!
Of course we had to enjoy the chocolate croissants!

And after a long walk in the heat it is hard to pass up and ice cold BOTTLE of Coca-Cola Classic. (Chris got one for now and one for later so I could use it as a prop in our picture... I didn't drink it!)
Here are some random ones from around the strip.
On our last night in Vegas we had tickets to see KA. We have already seen Mystere and O on previous trips to Vegas and have really enjoyed Cirque du Soleil so far. So we were so excited for KA. And it did not disappoint us! We loved it! But if we were going to suggest one it would be Mystere. Before the show we went to an absolutely delicious steakhouse which was ironically in the New York New York (yes by the end of the trip Chris managed to get over the NY issue).

On our way into dinner we were given free tickets to the New York New York's elite club Rok. We had just been talking about what we thought Rok was. We didn't think much of the tickets until we noticed that there was a guy featured on the tickets. When we looked closer we saw that it was Vanilla Ice! What!?! So after KA we decided to check it out. Neither of us have much experience going to clubs so it was interesting but it was fun! While we were waiting for Vanilla Ice to come on the stage three of the LA Lakers walked within arms reach of us... Luke Walton, Jordan Farmar, and Trever Ariza. It was crazy! When Vanilla Ice came on at about 1:30 AM the place went nuts! His third song was Ice Ice Baby! Once he played that song Chris and I decided to leave (since that was really all we wanted to hear). This picture was not using the zoom on our camera... that's how close we were.
We got back to our hotel at 3AM... it was a fun night!
All in all we had a great time with each other!
NOTE... In these pictures I am 22 weeks pregnant! I am now 26 weeks I will try to get more pictures up soon. I haven't been taking very many!
