4 wonderful years...

Today is our anniversary! It is hard to believe that it has been four years already since we said "I do". That was without doubt one of the best days of each of our lives. We thought we were hopelessly in love but the love and understanding we had for each other years ago shadows in comparison to where we are today. Each year brings new adventures, new celebrations, new challenges, and a new appreciation of one another. We really are best friends! What better way to celebrate our friendship and marriage than to spend the day together.
Chris took the next week off of work so we could spend time together to celebrate our anniversary and birthdays (Chris' birthday is the 13th and mine is the 16th). This morning we woke up at 5 AM, long before the sun, and went to play golf at General Old's.

Normally I would play with Chris but I have been struggling with an irritated back for a couple of weeks now. So instead I just rode on the cart and filled the role of caddy from time to time. I did still manage to sneak in a putt on one of the holes.

After golf, we came home and watched a movie. Which really means Chris watched a movie and I took a nap on the couch (a favorite pastime of ours!). Then we went and got pedicures together! That's right Chris got a pedicure (it was not his first one either)! It was so nice and relaxing... or in Chris' words "It was delightful!"

To top of our day we went to the Mission Inn Restaurant for dinner. This was where we went on our first date seven years ago. The food was delicious and the atmosphere out on the patio was sweet!

We are both so grateful that you all have been a part of our lives and our relationship. Thank you for all the love and support so many of you have given us!
