A Month of Prayers for Logan

I have been getting sweet texts from my most wonderful sister-in-law, Jessica, the last couple of days about specific things she has been praying for Logan. Today she emailed me a calendar of prayers for Logan for the whole month of October! We are so blessed by how intentional each of these prayers are for our son. We are going to pray through this list also... we would love for you to join in the fun too!

10/1 Healthy delivery
10/2 His joy (in the Lord)
10/3 His strength (that it would be from his joy in the Lord)
10/4 His strength of character
10/5 His salvation experience to be early & undeniable
10/6 His love would model that of Christ
10/7 His parents to have wisdom in the decisions governing his life
10/8 His church to be supportive of him in his journey toward salvation
10/9 The Holy Spirit to bear great fruit in his life
10/10 That he would desire to follow the Lord's commandments in all circumstances
10/11 His relationships with his parents
10/12 His relationships with his grandparents
10/13 His relationships with his aunts, uncles, and cousins
10/14 His wisdom in choosing friends and companions
10/15 His future wife
10/16 His future children
10/17 That he would have compassion toward others
10/18 That he would have a discerning spirit
10/19 That he would be a generous steward of the blessings in his life
10/20 His education
10/21 His career path
10/22 His ministry
10/23 That his desire to study the Word would be insatiable
10/24 That he would have a deep and abiding knowledge and understanding of the Word
10/25 That he would be bold in sharing the Truth with others
10/26 That he would use his strengths and struggles as tools to better understand the nature of God
10/27 That his honor, integrity, and reputation would be above question
10/28 That his perseverance and endurance would be pleasing to God
10/29 That his contributions to the world would bring glory to God
10/30 That his prayer life would be fervent
10/31 That his impact to the Kingdom would be great

It is a good thing that he is being born in a month with 31 days...I think this is such a great way to pray for your child. Praying for Logan also!

Wow, this is awesome. I have sticky notes in my Bible of days of the week and the special prayers I have prayed for my children. But a 31 day outline like this is awesome. You look great by the way.

I don't know why, but I started to cry when I read this! Must be my mommy-pregnant heart... It's like mush I tell ya! So great!

What a great idea! This is such an intentional way to pray for our babies and others. Excited for you guys to have a little boy. Ours is 10 weeks old now.
