A place of rest!!!

Okay so it has been a long time since you have heard from us. Things have been hectic in the Hofschroer household in the last month. I am about to finish the third week of school. My students are for the most part great... a few need a little extra attention but time has been our friend! A recent addition to my job duties is the Volleyball Coach! That's right you heard me... I will be the COACH... crazy! I will definitely fake it until I make it! But if I didn't do it the students don't get to play. That would be so sad! Tryouts are next week and the games are mostly in October!

Chris has been busy also. First with CBU student leader training, then extra busy with new student orientation! All of the events went well and classes are underway at CBU. Now we are straight into intramural football season for Chris. Fun and busy times!!!

In the midst of the craziness we were sleeping in our living room for over 2 weeks. We bought new bedroom furniture and chose to downsize to a queen from a Cal King. Our new furniture arrived but our new mattress didn't. So our old mattress was on the floor in the living room. You can only imagine that we weren't getting the best rest at all! Well our room is finally put together (and our living room is mattress free!). Now we feel like our bedroom is a place we can go to be so relaxed and refreshed!

Check it out below! =)

Those are totally math books! Oh Amy!;) I can't believe summer is over and you're back to work!!! We never even had a chance to get together. We're supposed to have a beach day with the Collins soon. If it still works out, maybe you and Chris could join us!?

Okay... confession time:
Yes those are math textbooks.
But no they do not go on my night stand permanently. We have new books this year at work so I am having to spend way more time looking through the textbook than usual. So I have a copy of each at home and didn't put them away after their last use!!! =/
Although... I do have a very nice collection of math books that would be great in a library, den or office someday!
