We saw a Masai tribal dance. And I even had the opportunity to participate. It was really cool and nerve racking all at the same time. I think I have a video somewhere that I will look for and post later.
Chris took lots of pictures and the kids in particular LOVED it! (I'll post some faces of Africa on another post later). Anyways... he would snap their picture and then they would all want to see themselves afterwards! It was so cute!
Here we are surrounded by some of the kiddos...
One day, about a week into our stay, when Chris was feeling well I took him out in to town to show him around. It was a sweet time just the two of us but the poor guy was whipped out of about an hour so we headed back to rest!
Remember how Chris and I parted ways for the last week of our trip??
Well I saw the peak of the tallest free-standing mountain in the world... Mount Kilimanjaro! (from an airplane... but still!)
... and was introduced to the Nairobi Java House (which may have saved me from insanity)!
And Chris got to go out on a layover and explore London for a few hours!!!
I think we owe it to each other to go back to these locations and experience these things together!!!!
