The Wonderful World of Color...

Logan is getting to the age where he is interested in coloring. Now with regular crayons there is the immediate distraction of eating them rather than coloring with them. So for Christmas Logan got some twistable crayons in his stocking that have hard plastic covers.
His first coloring session was one of our morning activities one day in January when we let daddy have the precious gift of extra sleep. Mommy grabbed the camera and attempted to take some pictures. Bear in mind that I do not typically use our nice camera so I was pretty impressed with the results!! =) The picture of the final masterpiece is a little blurry because I was in a hurry (since Logan had moved on to new adventures) so it was the only one I got but you get the idea!

Here is his first (of many I am sure) masterpiece!

Here is one last goodie to leave you with... LOVE THIS KID!!!

He is so cute! And those twistable crayons are the best invention. Colouring in the highchair while momma makes dinner is one of my favourite activities.:)

He is adorable. Avery loved those crayons when she was little but Austin wants nothing to do with sitting around coloring. The newest thing that the kids love that you'll have to keep in mind when he's a bit older are Crayola Window Markers that write on glass. They're a HUGE hit and they wash off with Windex. I haven't had a clear, clean sliding glass door in the 4 months since we've had them, but the kids love them so its worth it... :o) Was on good ole' Merrington Pl yesterday and got to talk to your mom, made me miss the good ole' days a bit when we were the little ids running around the street.
